Cleaner?

We won't sit and rave about these changes, but we like you heaps so here goes our attempt at filling you in about what we have coming up. You may have read our last little thank-you post in regards to how our past year has gone and more importantly, bring up the fact that it's our one year birthday come September. As we said, this requires a bit of house-cleaning, a good comb of the hair and some fresh wax on the shoes eh. Translation?

Next month you'll notice a new layout, some fresh artwork and a whole bunch of sneaky improvements to the site. On top of this, four monthly guest columnists will be giving their spiel on every Thursday of the month, regarding the scene and whats going on. We can't tell you who they are just yet, but let's just say you'll get plenty of enjoyment out of the international four artist lineup. We'll also be throwing in a weekly column from the team at ROMANCE who'll be going with their pictures of the week as well as an essential 'whats on' guide for the coming weekend. If your still not happy, we've completed a bunch of new deals with both national and international record labels to collaborate and showcase advanced clips - so hopefully we've got more and more to offer you in the future.

Last up, we're looking at getting a new regular contributor. This is probably the most important part of the changes and we've started scouting. We're chasing fun and knowledgeable. Romance Raised My Pants

Remember how we were telling you about the hip/rad/cool new nightlife photographers snapping great pics under the banner 'Romance In My Pants'? Well the boys, Dave and Steve, are really getting things kicking now, with the launch of their 'Face of Romance' competition earlier in the week. The basis is finding a cool new happy snap to use as main background for all their future promotional artwork and so on and so forth, via the most likes on their Facebook page. Turns out its a pretty cool (and free) competition, with the winner receiving a 5 person VIP pass to kick it with AJAX at the next Fuck Fluro (GPO)... pretty mint huh? We're going to keep an eye out over the photos, and we might throw a bit of promotional glory to our favorite over the next week, but for now check out everything we have talked about at the two precious links below:

Black Candy IN MY PANTS

If you still haven't been to a Black Candy Party your missing out pretty bad. The boys have upped the anti when it comes to their offerings and have a huge night lined up within the month (keep updated at the freshly launched BC Productions blog here). Also, take some time out and reflect on the (shitty and small) Black Candy photo tribute we compiled thanks to the boys at Romance In My Pants. These guys have been showing their perspective on the valley nightlife while awaiting the launch of their official website (HERE) and throwing the photos up on Facebook for all the nightlife addicts out there to enjoy.
