Here we go. We skipped January cause it was just a hectic hectic hectic month. BUT HMMM so much to tell you and talk about. SOOO many new tunes really finding a settling spot in my heart. First before I get into my post i just wanna say that @threaded tomorrow night at Alhambra there will be all sorts of hectic loosenessing thingy majigs going on. so if your in the vally come in and spike ya best mates drink :) OK!

GOLD COAST IS COMING!!!

Little Fritter - from the Goldy is so amazingly fucking shit up i dont even know what to think anymore. This guy has his twisted blend of techno and house coming out on some major labels in the coming months so PLEASE I BEG keep an eye out for him or even put him in your beatport top artists list (thats my sneaky little way of making myself feel like i still know whats up lol). Also along with little fritter he has his Duo "Nil By Mouth" with another local Alex James, please dont sleep the percussive grooves these guys are doing are getting mad props from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Jimpster, Deep Child and mannyyy mannyy more!.

Zare - My best mate and chi town groover. After the last year really perfecting his sound and his production this guy has some awsome deep housey technoy stuff coming out. alongside his already trademark Chicago house style. He has already headlined at Monastery and played NYE in Perth! His new tune "Daily Operations" is going to gain some massive respect from the big cats. I wonder if he will upload it to his soundcloud anytime soon or just make you wait??........

Pow! Pow! - Well here we have a mystical unknown duo who have been making a wide variety of techno & house. Already having a remix on Institubes and doing an official remix for Empire of the Sun these guys have around 10 finished Originals that are all very under wraps at the moment. With their song "Golden Circle" to be their first original release on Ajax's "Sweat It Out" as part of the Four Feet Above & Rising EP. They also have a massive techno grooving remix of Yolanda Be Cools "Villalobos For Presidente" coming out soon. Songs to get your ears onto here are "Watego", "Azul" & "Boogie Monster".

Ok now onto whats going on in my world UMMMMM!

To start i spose Good Vibrations Festival is next week. i hope you are all coming. 6pm - 7pm @ the Star Bar ill be smashing out some of the tunes ive really been feeling since day 1 of me getting into dance music. Of course as well as playing some of my new up and coming records. Most interesting i spose to me is my new 3 piece EP coming out with Poligono from MEXICO. This will be coming out on Dub Noir in the coming months. No previews to begin with but soon i will throw some out. LAST OF ALLLLL is my trip through Amsterdam, England & USA starting in 3 weeks. Jeff Doubleu has been kind enough to put me on @ Phunkers holland which will be March 6th! and going to be fucking nuts!, Then off to Birmingham & London for shows the following week and then off to Milwaukee, Texas & California for the last of my tour before returning home. I arrive home a few days before my birthday so its GAME ON!!!!! To finish off with here is my Promo mix i did for Good Vibes. "OK today i write to you from ORCKLUND IN NUU ZEEELIND.

Im sitting here in a studio knowing that i have to dj on the radio in 40 mins and i still havent been picked up. so far its not a good sign. im a little worried but my damn blackberry isnt working here. GOSH DARM IT!!.. hey lets see if i can do a whole post without swaring. i wont delete what i write, so if it just comes out naturally there is proof i have a problem. HECK!

WOW THO POW! POW!,  has some sick shows coming up including 2 boat parties and warm up at Neverland for Claude Vonstroke on 6th of Jan. tix are avaliable at moshtix.com.au RIGHT NOW YO!!!!

I'm also playing at Ruby Tramp on New Years Eve!! so its going to be pretty hectic there! an extreme amount of looseness, epicness and hecticness. (is hectic a QLD term??) i didnt think we used it that much. though i do.

ALSO if anyone is in melbourne/traveling to melbourne anytime soon. Please check out the Late Show's saturday nights at Revolver. i played there along side Butter Party & Loops Of Fury from brisbane and it was an epic fun night! although i know a certain someone who was there for 28.75 hours (and i quote), so dont be alarmed when you see that guy in the dark corner who seems to have three eyes, four arms and is talking to a shattered glass.

Allll rigghtt that seems to be it for this month. i have a good goodie to give away next month so tune back in and i may even try do this post as a Voice Clip next time... now that would be sweet. youd actually see what was going through my half eaten brain."

 Heyo just a quick one today, last week was a masssiivee and sick night with Boy8bit, I'm still hurting. There was lots of penis showing, skirt flipping and all round looseness. With the added attendance of Bass Weazel and Little Fritter who just got back from his European tour!!! Also this month I have decided to give out 4 of my tunes for free. Full wackyness, scary dancefloor shit to test those mutha fuckers whether or not they have taken enough mdma that night.

So anyway, I recorded a mix last week at 3am to bring you a taste of what there is to come. This tingles a little bit of everything I'm into lately and want to bang out. I'm sure there's something in there for everybody. It also has some Pow! Pow! material which is a new duo I've started up with mastermind Raye Antonelli. GET INTO IT YO! !

Ya know what? I'm never on time for anything really. I guess I just try to do my bizznizz thrown in with everything else, and it usually gets me through the day. I've taken it upon myself to give the 'anatomy' a miss this month as there's a much more important issues to raise. Over the last 4 years of even knowing what house music is, something has bugged me. Why do people call techno - techno, and why do they call dubstep - DUBSTEP! Well I managed to track down a very reliable source which has allowed me to explain the beginnings of house to all you folk.

House was born in 1971 with the mother merry Joseph Raggamuffin. The father Joseph Merry Raggabottom spent a lot of time in the discotheques trying to understand what a kick drum was. He was more then happy to work it out himself without the help of people like Larry Leven and Derrick May. You see all those sorta guys were doing their own thing, and I think house has also forgot them too.

Anyway, Mr Raggabottom used to get off tap and sit in a chair by himself for strenuous hours trying to work out what the kick drum was. Until one day at east, when he had an idea. This wasnt any ordinary idea keep in mind, but by doing so he had worked out the infamous kick drum sound :) yewwwww! With his fist in a hollow wall he kept punching holes to a 123 bpm tap, further advancing that to a speedy 138bpm and in turn, creating Techno! After moving to Detroit and and meeting the likes of Matthew Ladgrove and Adam Bozzetto, he figure out how much this scene was being abused. Matt and Adam were not very happy about this, so they also took it upon themselves to create a drum beat from punching holes in hollow walls. This started a world craze for 'holechno' or 'holouse'.

Finally, and after many years, Adam and Matt and Merry and Joseph died along with 'holouse' and 'holechno', as people started listening to 'ol Larry again.

Ladies... Gentleman... Wongo here.

I thought the best way to introduce my "Rantus" is by labeling my favourite body part of the month, "The Labia Majora". This part has been known as many things over the past centuries, including "the side bit", "the greek tickler" & also the "ferret sniff". Maybe I have just made all that up but i think it's time for the male race to take back whats ours!

My now Monthly Phunkers event on the Gold Coast will be absolutely FILLED with some Labia Majora. To be honest, I was almost gonna change the name of the night but thought that the Government would try and shut me down. DON'T get me started on the government, that will be next months rantus maybe.

Phunkers will be at The Ruby Tramp, located in Surfers Paradise on the 25th of September. I purposely put it the day before Parklife because I knew I'd get a bigger turn out than a few thousand. So come in early to get your taste of that sweet sweeeeeeet Labia Majora. Headlining this month will be Danny T, the now no #9 ITM "Dj" in Australia (I sware we are also best mates), then Johnny Rad who is one of the head honchos at MOS/Hussle Australia. He will bring some Labia Majoras to a stop FO SHO! Next up we have WIll Jax a young west coast DJ from Adelaide who's been releasing some quality deep house and shiz nit. its gonna be hectizzle for shizzle.
