Nu Style Records EP Release

Having served up their fair share of anticipation and hype, Nu Style Records have finally dropped the much anticipated promo's for their very first release, and turns out it has been damn worth the wait. Stemming from the UK, this fresh label has jumped onto the money making bandwagon for 2009 and the Nu Style team have their eyes set on making some serious waves in the prominent industry. Kicking things off for NSR001, the crew called in Twisted Bitz to drop a beat and flung Mc Freeflow on the mic before they kicked back and waited in awe.

After the clock ticked and tocked, 'Cant Shake This', the first filthed up release on Nu Style, exploded out the door. It's a heavy hitter and they crew couldn't be anything less than amazed at how their very first release bumped off. The original, coupled with remixes from The Funk Out, Jo Kira and Frederik Mooij, make it pretty easy to say this sucker will be climbing the charts come release date! The diverse nature of the EP, with doses of wobble, funk, tech and straight house, suggested that it''s one of those Beatport listings you don't think twice about, so we suggest you jump on this link right now!

Enjoy the tunes, buy them, and thank Nu Style Records for good music!

Oh YUM!

Wonk = Half Young Nutz

Young Nutz is the latest collaborative effort in the world of durrrrttyyy dance! With collaborations seemingly in trend (Switch + Diplo = Major Lazer!?), WonK (one of our favorites) and diXXie teamed up to 'bring back the good old rave days they fondly remember and educate the new age clubbers on their style of fidget and wonky beats'. Already, the two have spread the love and produced a number of exceptional bootlegs for the fans, all of which we have set below for your audible pleasure. If you like the sound these two are churning out, check out their expanding works on beatport, where the two have already remixed the likes of Cold Blank and held remix efforts based around MC Freeflow's vocals. JUMP!

Backed by the likes of Geoff K, The Bulgarian and Wolfgang Gartner

Get Messssy?

A relatively unheard original collaboration caught our ear recently, with Mc Freeflow (Atomic Zoo Recordings) throwing his vocals all over Dirty Basements beat - all to a very nice extent. The song belts out a snappy electro sound with a nice filthed up breakdown and all ends up around on the bassdriven side of house come the breakdown. Let this taster serve as an introduction to the extensive range of UK rap artists belting out collab's at the moment. Shoot some feedback on their pages if you like it!
