:: NSR003 ::

Already on their 3rd release, Nu Style Records have taken no time in stomping their foot through the stubborn front door of the record label industry. Turn's out they had another swift punch in mind soon after in their 2nd release, with the final jab hooking our email inbox a few days ago.

If you consider yourself a connoisseur of the Nu Style Records label, congratulations, you'll have a ballpark idea of the sound emitting from NSR003. Like previous releases, the 'new kid on the block' label keeps their EP's nice and diverse, throwing what we can only describe as pure filth, wobble, jackin' house and breakbeat elements into a jam packed offering with a bunch of names you know. The crew called up remix services from the well known Kraymer, Jason Score, Nate Metro and Audius, all of which gave very unique takes on a thumping main room original. The EP depicts the progress Nu Style have gone through since their initiation and we won't deny they have come along way from those early days.

Enjoy the complimentary samples courtesy of Paul Howe @ Nu Style Records and be sure to praise all the artists you feel a connection with. Included is a bonus tune sent over by good friend JC Edit, formulating another Kraymer tune he'd been handed. Seems like that Kraymer guy has a solid work ethic and a pretty damn good sound!

Accelerator EP

Forget some sort of modified 'Need For Speed' computer game or an exhaust for your imported scooter, NSR002 means more than that. Whip your head around 'Nu Style Records', you remember them right? We featured the teams first release when they called in Twisted Bitz and Mc Freeflow to execute debut EP honors not all that long ago, boy was it a treat.Consider this edition two!

Since then the crew have been hard at work, bumping and grinding, pushing and pulling, snapping and tapping. They promise us they don't even have long lunch breaks and are never late to work or early to leave. Well, we now believe them. After seeing NSR002, or in a more reader friendly context,

Twisted Grooves 'Accelerator EP', it's evident the crew behind Nu Style Records have been hard at work artist searching of late. Due out on October 19th, Twisted Groove has served up an absolute banger of a tune to set the tone for the EP. Smashing out an awesome summer breakdown and a drop that signals any party fiends overdrive, the original cut the work out for the producers assigned remix duties. In the end, The Funk Out, Mini K, Rob Perry and TD & Stitch came through with the goods, making the EP a must have for that's dirty, heavy house lovers. Check the samples courtesy of Nu Style Records, jump the links and buy the darn thing come October 19th!

Nu Style Records EP Release

Having served up their fair share of anticipation and hype, Nu Style Records have finally dropped the much anticipated promo's for their very first release, and turns out it has been damn worth the wait. Stemming from the UK, this fresh label has jumped onto the money making bandwagon for 2009 and the Nu Style team have their eyes set on making some serious waves in the prominent industry. Kicking things off for NSR001, the crew called in Twisted Bitz to drop a beat and flung Mc Freeflow on the mic before they kicked back and waited in awe.
After the clock ticked and tocked, 'Cant Shake This', the first filthed up release on Nu Style, exploded out the door. It's a heavy hitter and they crew couldn't be anything less than amazed at how their very first release bumped off. The original, coupled with remixes from The Funk Out, Jo Kira and Frederik Mooij, make it pretty easy to say this sucker will be climbing the charts come release date! The diverse nature of the EP, with doses of wobble, funk, tech and straight house, suggested that it''s one of those Beatport listings you don't think twice about, so we suggest you jump on this link right now!

Enjoy the tunes, buy them, and thank Nu Style Records for good music!
