Baby Gee, Danny T... JCEDIT... Killafornia... Habebe - all very good Brissy based DJ names known by everyone who has an interest in the scene. A few years ago of course, this would all have been very different and likewise, in a few years it will have changed again. DJ Kayli just sent over his latest mixtape and incase you don't know the guy, heres a few things about this true up-and-comer.
Dj Kayli, aka Kris, is currently working his way up the DJ ranks within Brisbane, already appearing at Empire Nightclub (middle bar), Uber and the always fun, GPO Hotel. From very different beginnings, DJ Kayli began music via guitar before experiencing the nightlife in the Brisbane CBD and with inspiration derived from many of Danny T's 'Dirty Thursday' sets, the taste for dirty fidget beats came naturally. Realising DJ'ing was what he wanted to do, DJ Kayli invested in some Pioneer CDJ's, a DJM-800 and EFX-1000 and put his head down for some serious practice (which sure is paying off).
