Keep On Building!

Mr Oizo is the heavy-hitting, alternative bad boy of the Ed Banger Crew. He spits out diverse pieces of rhythm on a regular basis and had half of Brisbane screaming at Summafieldayze. He is also the creater of the heavily played and overly-consumed, Positif. Now, if you claim to have not heard Positif, it just means your not very good with names, because you have. Turns out the very popular tune caught the ears of our very own Killafornia who quickly went to work to slash up a club friendly edit for everyone to enjoy. It hits harder, smells nicer and will certainly be taking top place when its time to pick and choose between Positif remixes and edits.

Wongo Goodness

Having just got back from playing over in the UK and NZ alongside the likes of Adam Bozzetto, Wongo has continued to stamp out killer original and remix work that establishes himself as one of the heavy hitters in the game. The boy from the Goldy has actually got so much work going on he's giving tunes away instead of releasing them, proof via the full 320kbps 'Oh Shit' EP we have for your audible pleasure below. The zip file is home to two very tasty original peices, in true jackin' Wongo style. Check it out, then visit him on beatport!

Kayli Is Back

Quite awhile ago we got mention of up and comer DJ Kayli and dropped one of his sets for all to enjoy. At that stage, his production efforts were at their birth stage and turns out since then, they've been growing up real fast! He just dropped his work-over of Lick It, which is a upbeat progressive style track, hinting on a bunch of elements of tribal house. The finished product sounds great and proves that in his absence from 'the fridge', he was definitaly working hard to stir up a storm. Check the tune and drop him your thoughts!

Favored by the likes of Grum, Streetlife DJs, PunksJump Up, and Andy George & Jaymo, Run Hide Survive’s recent EP,“Dyson/Pigeon” ticked all the right boxes and has set the duo up for a barrageof quality remix action. The artists below all served up their original work to Run Hide Survive so they could smash a bit of their taste over it - works well! Jump the tracks and the links to see what the boys are about. Thanks Nathan!

PAC-MAN + Nerds

The Black Candy 'Revenge of the Nerds' party went off in traditional style as the Empire Moon Bar house party packed out last week. The nights are getting bigger and with all the sneaky treats and extras the crowds have come to expect, its on the way up! July 3rd is the next stop, with Black Candy Productions presenting 'Life of Electro'. Serving up free hot dogs, the jelly shots everyone missed last time and a great local line up, it should be a banger. Kick off 8pm, featuring DJ's Jordan Naumov, Benibee, Keen?, Donnie & Brasco and more - see you there!

Extra? Me and a mates little alter-ego snapped out a quick mixtape for the Black Candy crew the other day, just a taste of what go's on each night!
