Steve Aoki Ticket Competition

What better way to kick off this new and exciting month than by putting a competition on for you guys. The kind people at Arcade Creative are giving Fridge Jet readers the opportunity to win a Double Pass to arguably one of the biggest nights to hit QLD this year. Yes that’s right, STEVE AOKI is coming to town! Before I give you the details on how you can go in the draw for these babies, I must introduce this legend for those of you that have been living under a rock.

Steve Aoki, aka Kid Millionaire, is a celebrity DJ and also the founder of Dim Mak Records, which counts leading indie rock bands such as Gossip, Bloc Party, and Battles among its stable of signees. The son of wealthy restauranteur Rocky Aoki, he is of Japanese heritage and calls Los Angeles home. In 2007 he released his first official mix CD, Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles, on Thrive Records. Featuring tracks by Justice, Klaxons, Mystery Jets, Peaches, Datarock, Yelle, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, and Scanners -- most of them remixed -- Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles is fairly representative of the Aoki's renown as a taste making dance-party DJ rather than a skilfull turntablist.

Keepin' Kids Dancing

Have you heard of that 12 year old who sneaks out of his parents window to play gigs for $10, a bearded studio-sorcerer worshipped by bands and DJ’s twice his age as a living electronic idol? About the kid in his early 20s who’s founded that London nightclub Trash where they played Bowie and basslines at the same time?

Now in his early thirties, Voted the UK's favorite DJ,
Erol Alkan captivated Parklife attenders in Brisbane on Saturday night for a truly mesmerizing, psychedelic, electronic experience. If his sound hadn't already placed you on another planet, the dust storm would of without a doubt. I would have to say, the highlight of my day/night was when he dropped his recent release of "Waves". This production is a collaboration with the ever so successful prodigy Boys Noize. It is also tearing up the Indie/Nu Disco Charts on Beatport, coming in at #2.

Whether he’s playing the latest in hardcore thrash or producing delicate anthems of spectral beauty, one thing’s for sure; music, truly fertile music, is never very far from Erol Alkan, and his sound can surely only continue to grow in the future. Haven’t you heard?

Keep up to date on Erol's movements on
Myspace, Facebook, Official Website, or Beatport.

Hello Summer.

Having watched Fridgejet grow alongside my musical taste, knowledge and aspirations, its funny to sit around and ponder about some of the tunes that made my first love for electro and house. It's easy to laugh at some of the absurdly hard, head-banging floor fillers that I used to have maxed out on my I-pod, but I am of full understand that those 'old' tunes are where all my good memories are hanging out. Fast forward to the opposite end of the spectrum for now. I would like to consider that the tunes enclosed within this post will appeal to those who have passed a stage of adrenalin filled roller coasters in terms of their prefered music. No, not the more cultured ones, just those who have already beaten their elderly hearing to a pulp.

Remember the
Gossip? Well the guys that discovered them, Backyard Records (also responsible for Chromeo, Tronik Youth and The Similou) have recently launched an imprint label, Pin-Up Records, which has signed Swedish duo Kläder & Vapen (KOV). Pin-Up Records have given me blog friendly promo MP3s of their debut for the label and I'd say you could blast these audible goodies around the pool. in a sweaty club or on a packed train, all to promising avail. After you've begun consumption of these tunes, its likely you will notice a difference in taste from your average Fridgejet meal. Don't be alarmed. This music is good for you! If you enjoy, jump the links and nab the EP when it drops, these guys have something special!

Northie YO!!

Having grown up spinning around a plethora of records and CDs, it's no surprise we find ourselves talking about this young chap come our pleasant, and dustless, Thursday evening. The kid does quite a bit more than your average 19 year old and he's not one to give himself a wrap, so let's sit here and do it for our friendly friend NORTHIE!

Having entered the game a year or two back from the Central Coast, Northie bumped his way into the scene before making it pretty damn obvious he should of been there a long time prior. Given that he has an unrivaled set of skills and determination that completely contradicts your average wigged-out teenage stereotype, it's pretty damn hard to find where Northie can go wrong! Bring on the modern day and the good kid from Sydney spends his time as the whole of Northie, half of the
Brain Matters DJ's and the spearhead of 'Heres Johnny Promotions', giving you three detrimental reasons to jump on the overflowing bandwagon and get your dose of this popular hot shot.

The ripper Sydney local and good friend of FridgeJet has sent through a few of his catch free offerings to which I have found myself a severe addiction to. Who gives a funk about nutritional value on these suckas, with how tasty Northie's tunes are, even if they are bad for you it's worth the crack! Snap up these three suckers, check him out when he headlines at the next
Disco Disco alongside Pablo Calamari and praise the cool kid at ALL the links below!

Northie - Looking Fresh (Fresh Prince Bootleg)
Northie - JSided (Jesse Rose, Justin Timberlake, Kelis Mashup)
For Our Hero - Mr. Prozac (Northie Remix)

Dusty Soundcloud

Ernesto Pacheco

Having a Soundcloud account set up since the introduction of this page to the blogosphere, I've unfortunately grown less and less methodical in checkin the useful feature. Turns out this contradicts the increase in tunes FridgeJet has been sent via the music support site, forcing me to repent laziness, kick into gear to clear this unposted back log of good quality tunes. For now, we'll be a little briefer than we usually are, but be sure to jump on the plethora of links sprinkled over the post to get your future doses of anything that catches your ear! We've done a write up on each artist and you can nab the tracks at the bottem of this post!

Disco Villians:
While you've probably heard these widely popular tunes, bare with us as we lay some credit to some truely awesome producers. Stemming out of the US, these two lad's have shot throught a number of their highly blogged remixes and if you havn't heard these yet just thank us later, for now put your shuffling shoes on and go wild around your bedroom and/or kitchen.

Malo:
We have shot around the place, up and down, and we just havn't found out that much about this guy. We like his catchy, filthed up little tune and his mixtape is cool work, so Malo... if your reading this, give us a shout back and thanks for sending your stuff over!

Disco Villians:

Hot Everything

We often enjoy giving credit to the quality, high end locations to stop by when it comes to blog-hopping, albeit the underlying assumptions. You could look at it and say this act is simply promoting the competition, but hell, we read them and we love them, so you might too. Today we've just gotta give kudos to Swehouse, labeled Sweden's premier house music blog. In the past, we've raved about blogs for their layout, writing style and even funny nature, but the most standout attribute of Swehouse? Good quality music.

They don't do any of that half-hearted stuff, so when 'Mr K' and 'Alex R' (the two contributors for the blog) do a post, you know its worth the downloads, even if your sporting a shitty internet connection! The posts are straight to the point, giving you just what you need to know about the track and always including a prominent shout out to the artist's talent. Keeping in Swehouse fashion, we'll wrap this up and include a few of the tunes the team have featured lately. If you like them, which you will, the link to their page is staring back at you!

Chuckie vs LMFAO - Let The Bass Kick (Laidback Lukes I'm In Budapest Bitch Edit) swehouse.com
Laidback Luke has been touring a shitload lately, and he made edit's of this tune for all the places he stopped by. You can grab 250mb of Laidback Luke Edits here.

Redroche - Give U More feat Laura Kidd (Afrojack Remix) swehouse.blogspot.com
You can decide what you think of this one, but a closing note would be that it proves Afrojack's versatility as a producer - just wait until he comes to Australia!

Will Bailey - Hit The Club (Sidney Sampson Remix) swehouse.blogspot.com
It's a pretty heavy dose of the Sidney Sampson we all got so used to after Riverside. Semi-mainstream club - eat your heart out!

Swehouse Music Blog (click to visit)

Having built our following on travels down a 100% legal charter (to the best of our ability), we look at some other blogs (let's forget Swehouse for now) in the current day and sit around scratching our head's in disbeleif. Having learnt the hard way that un-authorised and even 'slightly controversial' links will be removed and a copyright infringement generally follows, we get on the right side of astounded when watching other blog's posting links to full albums/EPs on torrent providers like 'ThePirateBay' (it even sounds dodgy!). While it's a possibility these blogs upload full albums to these providers and then share them on their website (having previously gained permission from the artist, label and manager involved), our best guess suggests they are simply 're-posting' the illegal link. I guess that's what makes the blog's in question feel like they are doing something right, or at least, nothing wrong. If you like a tune that has a release date and you want it in your library, be nice, credit the artist, and buy the tune.

Nu Style Records EP Release

Having served up their fair share of anticipation and hype, Nu Style Records have finally dropped the much anticipated promo's for their very first release, and turns out it has been damn worth the wait. Stemming from the UK, this fresh label has jumped onto the money making bandwagon for 2009 and the Nu Style team have their eyes set on making some serious waves in the prominent industry. Kicking things off for NSR001, the crew called in Twisted Bitz to drop a beat and flung Mc Freeflow on the mic before they kicked back and waited in awe.
After the clock ticked and tocked, 'Cant Shake This', the first filthed up release on Nu Style, exploded out the door. It's a heavy hitter and they crew couldn't be anything less than amazed at how their very first release bumped off. The original, coupled with remixes from The Funk Out, Jo Kira and Frederik Mooij, make it pretty easy to say this sucker will be climbing the charts come release date! The diverse nature of the EP, with doses of wobble, funk, tech and straight house, suggested that it''s one of those Beatport listings you don't think twice about, so we suggest you jump on this link right now!

Enjoy the tunes, buy them, and thank Nu Style Records for good music!

Oh YUM!

Phuck I'm Melting!

The Incredible Melting Man produces filth. Good, enjoyable, harmonic and technically correct filth for that matter. He's been doing it for quite awhile and he's very good at it. He also just sent me over his latest bootleg, which comes in the form of his work on Notorious B.I.G's tune 'Hypnotize'. It's a ripper, and does perfect justice in promoting his HUGE release with Mic Fresh, the 'Jakin Da Filth' EP (get previews/interview here) out on Champion Beats Records, run by The Incredible Melting Man himself. Jump the tune now, see what you think, then when you realise you like it, buy the Jakin Da Filth EP right here and pay The Incredible Melting Man a visit!

Enjoy YO!

Get THREADED!

Threaded kicked off last Friday night at Alhumbra nightclub and boy did it go down a treat. For all the punters heading out and chasing something different, they wen't home more than satisfied after a killer Bambam runway show and a bunch of cool local talent. Considering it's a monthly event, it shows a fair bit of promise for a fresh an alternative event for the Brisbane scene in the future. If you missed out on checking the event, jump on their page right here and check out whats planned for the future. You'd be a fool to miss it twice!

FridgeJet Fun Bag - September #2

After our first (and very popular) installment of the FridgeJet Fun Bag, we've decided to crank out another one to get you going 'till your Parklife ventures. While your probably nursing a hangover from last nights antics, we suggest you snap up all the goodies in this post to benefit your week on the daily grind, not to mention paying the artists a visit and learning more about the stuff you like. Well, here goes.

Killafornia
We haven't had a chance to chat about one of our favorite Brisbane locals in quite some time, so forgive us while we rant a little. While his sets have become centerpieces for good parties and clubs won't keep him off their schedules, but of late it's his production that's really got people talking. Having thrown down some relentless hours resulting in a string of fresh, boppy originals, his latest work puts justice to his work ethic, with 'Say Yeah' getting signed to Phresh Digital and due out soon. We've got a few re-edits from the man himself to get you going until his name splashes into Beatport, so enjoy both and wait in heavy anticipation.

Oliver Leigh - I'm A Coconut (Killafornia's Keepin' It Jackin' Re-Edit)
Mr Oizo - Positif (Killafornia Re-Edit)

The Surecut Kids
Yep, we just gotta chat about them again and to be honest, the more fun loving party tunes they send to our inbox, the better. Maybe its because they suit a beer and the sun, or because you know even the toughest of guests will enjoy them, but The Surecut Kids can't do wrong when it comes to producing tracks. We highly suggest you snap up their latest offering featured below, providing a perfect tune to play as you attempt to mimic their oh-so-cool 'breadbox parties' at your own place. Enjoy it and thank the likeable Gold Coast lads for a good time!

The Surecut Kids - 80/20 (Original Mix)

Royal K
While we like talking about Royal K, we are not so sure on spending our time discussing tunes that you can't escape on any up to date commercial radio station. Fortunatly, we've got a sucker that gives a little more preference to Royal K and less to the original, coming in his remix of 'Sexy Bitch' by David Guetta and Akon. See what you think of this alternative take on a very mainstream effort, and drop Royal K a line to see whats going on in his world.

David Guetta feat Akon - Sexy Bitch (Royal K's Mighty Refix)

Note: Honorable mention and shout out must go to Afrojack's remix of the tune, which spins it way out of proportion but works a treat on sweaty club-goers.

Dylan H
He still hasn't come out to Australia, but surely he's due for some serious travelling soon, with his wicked production work filling up Beatport via a growing mass of record labels. The young gun has just recently shot out a number of free tunes for everyone, which all become readily available on his cool website (available at this link here), and we just have to pass them on. We havn't stopped smashing out his remix of 'Call Me' and it turns out we got a little behind on all his releases, so be sure to check Beatport for exposure to just how busy this talent has been.

Daz Dillenger - Ridin High (Dylan Holshausen's Riding Someone You Know Bootleg)

Bonus: While we are not quite sure what this is, we do know Dylan Holshauson kills Hannah Montana and drops some filth on her ass. A bit of fun is your best bet with this sucka.

DJ Axle
While we don't know a whole load about this Jozi DJ, he's released a string of cool techy, funked up originals that prove his talent when it comes to those confusing DAW applications. Simply put, this guy is pretty damn on the ball, with a cool website and a string of big name appearences, his sound seems to be going down a treat with hi fans. We've got a few remixes for everyone to try below, including a taste of his tech orientation, and a heavy dose of his passion for 'fidget'. We'd say this guy is around to stay and if the up-and-comer keeps pumping out tunes of this quality, the name might just pop up a little closer to home.

Reloop - Fucking Society (Axle Touche's FiJaTech Mix)
Axle - Yes Baby (Axle's Funky Wobble Mix)

Enjoy !

Walk Abouts With WoNK - Part 1

Hey everyone, WoNK here with my first installement of 'Walk Abouts With WoNK' and a little insight into my travels.

So after a lovely 8 hour flight I land in Ontario to be greeted by The Melting Man and Kerrie Nation .. who are running a touch late .. why? Because they are running around the wrong terminal telling staff they lost their friend from England haha! My first big welcome to Canada is going to a McDonalds and being poo'd on by a bird.. nicee!!

The london crowds are amazing and really up for it, people that just like to party, and it was wicked hanging out with the Melting Man and Kerrie Nation. Such lovely hosts taking me to feed the ducks, eat Nerds and giving me Perogies and Poutine. Plus I got to meet gabby their lovely cat and some nice people such as Josh, Dave, Dj Awol, luke, wendy, evileyez and many more whose names fail me right now. After 2 banging gigs in London I headed to calgary where I hooked up with Chris Moriera and the lads and went to party at Sals. Lovely crowd, tasty sound system and dirty beats. Can't be beaten. I also get greeted on msn with the news that my Satisfaction remix that i did with Filthy Rehab has been played by Kissy Sellout on Radio 1 which is ace as he played my Crystal Gypsy remix not long back also.

Then off to Saint John, a quiet town until you get into the clubs and they just love it. I don't think i have had so many pictures taken with crowd members before and gotta say much love to Decay and Adam Dixon for warming up before me and specially for Dixon for doing a b2b for the last 30 mins with me as well which tore it up. A short hop on an 18 seater to Montreal and then on to Toronto to party with the Bassteaser Crew which was awesome. A nice venue called Nocturne with some lovely party people.

The next stop was whistler. I landed in Vancouver and then headed up to Whistler through the mountains and the picturesque views. Im a little sad it wasn't the snow season because id have loved to have had a day snowboarding but the venue was amazing one of the best booths i have ever seen and the clubbers were really into their fidget. I got to spend the next day in whistler chilling and checking out the paths and mountains before heading back to Vancouver that evening. It's one place I will definitaly have to hit again at some point.

While out on tour I've been talking to Dixxie my Young Nutz partner and we have decided to do a mega bootleg package. A friend of ours Matt B has done a wicked remix of a Shy Fx tune and wanted us to do a cheeky remix of it too so we have gone one better and lined up not only Young Nutz to do one but also Kick Oh, Mini K, Melting Man, Filthy Rehab, Mikey Dalton, M n M and Royal K. Everyone will do their own take on the tune and then it will go out as a big bootleg package world wide to show the skills of all the producers and give the clubbers and fans a chance to get some hot free music. Fridgetjet will get this package first and be sure to watch this space for some special news coming very soon from myself and Young Nutz.

WoNK.

Fingajigg Fun

Still stirring up killer mixes in the depths of Monastery, Birdee's and other premium joints around town, the duo that is Fingajigg haven't stopped making waves since they broke the scene. Showing their capabilities spread much further than mixing up a storm, the guys have just shot out a nice little bootleg for the fans to enjoy and its definitely worth the download. Expect a nice snapshot of the sound they have going on at the moment, but if you want a bit more (you will) we suggest snapping up the mix tape too. Furthermore you can thank the boys at the links provided and watch them do their thing when they support Santiago & Bushido @ Monastery this Friday night!

House... Work.

Housework. We don't do it very often, so don't whinge. Whingin' makes your face go wrinkley!

Err anyway, if your reading this post you would have already noticed the new aesthetics, but here's the finer details on all this new jazz your currently looking at. We recently invested in a very valuable asset, coming in the form of a friendly graphic designer by the name of Moe (you can reach him at this link). He's jazzed up the site and will be helping us out in the future, so any trickery you see in and about the page, be sure to thank him for it. Furthermore, you can hit him up about work of your own via the links placed around the site. You won't regret it, this guy is good!

Dwarf Porn!

Calvertron is one busy man. Since kicking off his production career in 2003, his name can be translated to over 100 official releases, one half of DJ/production duo Twocker, an alternate alias in Kalva, and the owner of Jack Knife Records (UK). Despite the fact that he evidently has no spare time, you won't find the UK mad man doing a half-assed job, with his latest EP on Potty Mouth Music serving as a testament to that statement.

The 'Dwarf Porn' EP presents listeners with three inarguable proposals; Calvertron is at the top of his game, Itchyfeet are skyrocketing and Potty Mouth Music are still the label to beat. In the thumping debut collaboration, Calvertron and Itchyfeet serve up two throbbing originals, 'Dwarf Porn' and 'Grifter', complimented and garnished with an excellent remix by New Zealand producer and DJ, Magik Johnson. Both originals on the EP taste of Calvertrons trademark big room sound and encapsulate the groovy and upbeat nature of Itchyfeet, perfected by some awesome vocals from Steve Kyte of the Robosapiens. Call it the depth of talent, combined years of experience or straight up funk-factor, but the boys have got it right and like usual, Potty Mouth Music is there to support quality.

The EP dropped exclusively at Beatport on September 8th, so you can go buy the darn thing right now, right here. If your looking to have a little taste test beforehand, Potty Mouth Music label owner James Amato has sent over the EP in 128kbps clips, purpose built for your enjoyment. Make sure you say thanks to the crew via the links in this post and hop on over to Beatport to snatch up one of the freshest releases this month!

Pretty Cool Yeh?

Look around you. Bit different huh? More to come on the man behind it all very soon, but to keep you going, check out our 2009 promo video! Yep.

Sunlight

If your what we like to call a 'good friend', you would have read our interview with Gold Coast duo 'The Surecut Kids' awhile back (if not your still our friend, but read it here). That crazy chat a few weeks back opened us up to their world, their 'breadbox' parties, their style, their plans and most importantly, their addictive audible treats. Since then we've turned into junkies and emailed them repetatively and consistantly, trying to get ahold of another fix. In a desperate attempt to shut us up, The Surecut Kids have shot us not one, but two tunes, and if you didn't love them after the interview and their last 4 tracks, you'll love them after this. You know the deal, check the tracks and drop them a hello!

Enjoy some glitch hop, plenty of heavy drums, synths and 808 high hats in 'Love', then calm down and make yourself feel better about sipping on that Bacardi and watermelon juice with their awesome remix of Daniel Haaksman's 'Kid Conga' tune, awesome baile funk!

The Surecut Kids on Myspace, Facebook and Twitter!
Enjoy,
Sammy.

A Black Candy Diary: Chapter #1

You won’t find BLACK CANDY out the front of universities at tables talking about art or magazines with professors. No. Black Candy is about the people in the back, back-room... the people in the DJ Booth and the people in the sweaty inferno they call “downstairs”. The people waiting in line for the dingy white tiled bathrooms, the people in the hallway toward the exit where you always see someone you haven’t seen in years, you know, since they tried the “relationship thing” and of course now they’re single and you’re both drunk and you talk about how fucked up you both are and say stuff like “i’ll see you back inside” just to spend the rest of the night trying to avoid them, meanwhile scanning to find that one beauty you connected with, who mentioned they were leaving with their friends soon. Will you find them before the clock strikes 3am and your options run out.....?

Black Candy is a lifestyle in the clubs where people go for the music, where the person they might meet will not be the cool kids they already know, where the lights are dark and you can’t make out small body signs that you really can’t afford to miss with “that” girl, and all while dancing to tracks you have never heard before by the likes of residents KEEN? and Donnie & Brasco. Don't expect the tunes that have been killed by radio stations either. When you leave you leave with a smile, as you go home and get on a blog to find “that” track you heard and stalk on Facebook for “that” girl you came across, not sure whether calling or sending them a PM is too forward....?

Upcoming Events::
26/09/09 - Here Comes The Sun (Parklife Pre Party) @ Birdees (event link)

Werd!

Timoshii Love

There's no doubt we have had our fair share to say about UK producer Timoshii in recent months, but a solid work ethic deserves recognition, and this guy just keeps spitting them out! His latest effort popped up on BomBeatz Music after he remixed Perfect Cell's 'Stupid Worm' original. We won't rant about the tune for ages (you definitaly know what we think of his production skills), but let's just say its a peak time banger that justifies Timoshii's extremely quick rise up the ranks. Furthermore, if you like it then jump onto Beatport and buy the FULL version because it's heaps better - we promise!

Adam Bozzetto Says Hi (September)

Hey All! Adam Bozzetto Here.

I just got to the US about a week ago. First off I would like to say a massive thanks to Potty Mouth Music label owner,
James Amato, and his housemate who is also a killer Dj, Ori Kawa, for letting me stay at there house and for filling every need I have to eat all things American.

I just got back from playing the Root Society Camp @ Burning Man Festival with a bunch of the Potty Mouth guys. WOW. what an experience. But lets just keep this post about the music. I was lucky enough to play along side a host of killer artist like
Hatiris, Robb G and J E L O all from Canada, Will Bailey from the UK, Joachim Garraud from France and the Potty Mouth guys James Amato, Electric Soulside, Santiago and Bushido and TJR. It was great to hear 'our sound' and similar stuff going down in a 60ft dome stage in the middle of the desert. Just when you think that maybe the sound that you love is not so prominent any more you go to something like this and you know that things are still going strong. Thanks Root Society Camp for having us!

Here are some amateur vids I took from the party within the 60ft dome, but 'till next week, peace!

Adam Bozzetto.

FridgeJet Fun Bag - September

Every now and then, starting from today, expect to be served up with what we have decided to call a 'FridgeJet Fun Bag'. Lame name aside, these treats will contain a number of tracks and mix tapes from a bunch of different artists, all of top notch quality. It helps us out in making sure we don't let tracks grow old in our inbox as we watch other blogs post them, so expect more tunes from now on with plenty of these to come. Enjoy!

Aspin & Dipace
Their two DJ/Producers from the UK and to this day, you would be hard pressed to find a big name out there who didn't acknowledge the duo's work. They've remixed the likes of
Kyle Watson, Calvertron and Carl Cox, popped up on labels like Cr2 Records, Venga and Wearhouse, and received praises from just about every known name around the block. Given all this, the guys have kept a level head and stayed true to their roots, still serving up that amazing sound that got them a cult of followers so quickly. What's even more exciting is the fact that Aspin & Dipace have dropped a few bootlegs, no hidden tricks, all yours. The tracks are a good sample of what the guys do and will make you go to their Beatport page (right here) and throw some coin their way in an effort to get some more, we hope.

Royal K + Timoshii
We're not going to blabber on about these two and their history, as we have a comprehensive archive of posts on them (click here for Royal K and here for Timoshii). They are both great producers and work horses. They don't sleep. To be honest we don't even know if they eat. But they produce a tonne of sweet tracks, mix tapes and crazy sets in clubs around the place. Recently, Timoshii has worked over 'Stretcher' from Royal K and it's came out quite nicely. He's allowed a snippet of the 320 to be sampled before you can all get your mitts on the real deal. It's due out on Junky Trunk Records and we insist you check this space for more info in the coming weeks. In the meantime, have a listen to the tune, via Timoshii's Soundcloud.

We haven't giving these guys enough chat since they kicked off quite some time back now. If you don't know who they are, you probably don't go out that much, but that's OK. The team behind it all kicked things off with a huge launch party back in May and have been throwing crazy house parties at Empire Hotel ever since. Maybe it's the different vibe or cool atmosphere, but the crowds keep coming back and the events are going through the roof. If you haven't been to one yet, we suggest making their blog a regular stop off point when your on the computer. Alternatively you could grab them on Facebook. They've recently posted a sweet new mix from Black Candy residents Donnie & Brasco, comprising of all the same sorta tunes the two use to get the crowds going at each party. Enjoy it then catch the duo + more at Here Comes The Sun, the biggest Parklife Pre-Party!
