ITM brings Buraka Som Sistema?

Buraka Som Sistema fuse native Angolan Kuduro sounds with electro orientated beats. They are very good but are not like the typical Fridgejet DJ's - but hey, its always good to try something new.

While their sound puts out a very unique feeling, Buraka Som Sistema ARE like some artists you may have heard before. They share a similar sound with the always daring M.I.A (Steve Aoki labeled their set at Coachella one of the pinnacle moments of 2008) and has roots that must have stemmed from artists like Diplo and Bondo De Role. Their sound was enough to (albeit perhaps only for one post) break away from the fidgety, sweat driven dance tracks that usually arrive in my inbox. Fridgejet feels proud in having the chance (via the help of In The Mix) to bring you this international flavored electro ghetto funk - fresh from the trio's debut album 'Black Diamond'. Enjoy and appreciate a sound that tears away from musical genre's and the constraints that come with them.

Ps - the boys are on their Australian tour, doing various stops including the Laneway Festivals in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney.
