UP AND AT THEM!

http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/9665/headerssp.jpg
Two of our favourite club brands: BLACK CANDY and LICK IT have thrown some of the biggest parties this little town has ever seen. From massive international acts, to crazy themes, the gang-banging duo have very much done it all and then some.

Both aficionado's are changing venues and have decided to join forces and throw one last send-us-off-our-shit party. Hence! the SUPERHEROES party at Brisbane's Empire Hotel features DJ SEGA (MAD DECENT) and GIGI BAROCCO (DIM MAK/ITALY). With supports from favorites Tim Fuchs,  Wolfie, J. Underpants, Killafornia, Jad and Lady Boy, The Fitzgerald Inquiry, Benibee, Royale, K Frizz and Phantom Collective hoodlums Keen? and Koochie,  the night is more than definitely set to be nuclear.

Come show your support for what is their last (but most certainly not least)  party at Empire before the the hard hitting electro sound of BLACK CANDY moves to the  Monastery  Nightclub and the versatile LICK IT continues to have their finger on the pulse on Brisbane's cool and fresh.

The history of both event crews leaves them with a remarkable hosting of world's most pursued live acts with Lick It media shipping over Metronomy, Klaxons and Boys Noize and the star-studded Black Candy  providing Brisbane with the lives of Fukkk Offf, Le Castle Vania and  the fostered  careers of some of brisbane’s biggest live acts. Come support the names that have been providing you with those heartfelt moments on the dirty floors of Empire Hotel at 4am in the morning and send them off with one more bang!

Stay Classy Brisbane,
Black Candy & Lick It.

Kurjak.

From the ashes of the Kosovo war, from the flames of history, rises WOLFIE!

With a flourishing love for Tropical House and Techno, the new production label come only to be known as 'WOLFIE' defines a fresh pinnacle of underground tunes other than just eschewing 'ratta tat tats'. Giving birth to a contemporary minimal sound, Wolfie's production makes full use of the accessibility of the house genre by moving away from heavy baselines and making grooves off nothing but percussion.

Wolfie tells us: "I'm really enjoying the new movement of minimal tech and have brought in my own style of tropical house through my music".

Don't take our word for it. Seriously.

Stay upto date with the rise of WOLFIE through Myspace (New EP due for release very shortly). He can be found hunting around the dark at Empire Hotel on Friday nights. Don't blame us if you get bitten though!
