LU10 RECORDS/CENSOR THIS!

Consider this post a double edged sword. We have both (A) an awesome release to talk about and (B), a stellar local with a big opportunity that needs a shout. We hope you enjoy it. We know you will!

(A) Throwing Jay Robinson, Detboi, Supabeatz and Kitch'N'Sync onto a single EP is destined for success, and thats exactly what LU10 records have done with their latest release. Titled 'Rawr', the Jay Robinson feature EP is an absolute stormer in terms of diversity and straight up floor filling power, with all participants stepping up and showing their own unique styles in the best way possible. Personally, we love the feel of the original and Detboi remixes, but both Supabeatz and Kitch'N'Sync complete the EP with amazing remix masterpieces. Best thing about it? It's out now, so buy it right here!!

(B) Censor This is a Brisbane local many would have run into over the years. He's better known for his jackin' sound than playing at any one particular venue, with diversity always been high up on his priorities list. This Thursday night see's his chance at the highly popular 'Say Hello' event at Monastery nightclub, alongside fellow local Kayli. If your thinking of a venture into the late night district, we strongly recommend a drink, dance and fist pump during his set!

RANDOM!

Wow. We haven't posted in two days so let's get straight into it before our email inbox explodes.

We don't know anything about this guy but he's got a solid jackin' sound and he picked a couple of pretty cool tunes to remix. In our opinion he's done really well, even if some argue that the sound is starting to pass. Who are we to say though - good work Mick Mitias (bonus track below).

If your feeling a little dubstep then you should really get on this. It's Jeuce's rework of the very popular 'Remedy' tune by the famed Crookers, also featuring Mike Snow. For a tad bit of background, Jeuce are an electro/dubstep act based out of Leeds in the UK who have recently received airplay on Radio 1 - need we say more? They are on the way up so catch 'em sooner rather than later! (bonus track from Jeuce below)

First up we've got a new track from Radaza, a highly versatile local DJ who's got what many want when it comes to late night musical capabilities. Playing everything from electro and hip-hop to breaks and trance, he somehow managers to find extra time to spearhead promotional efforts for a number of well known companies and even sit atop Boomstar Loco - a group most of you will know a fair bit about. Here's a breaks offering from the man himself, see what you think and hit him up with praise!

BONUS:

Yay.

AXE 2 GRIND EP

Our main man Jackbot shot us some love today, coming in the form of his latest release forthcoming on LU10 Records. To give you some background, LU10 was created by the duo of masterminds that is 'Kitch N Sync' and was founded back in November of 2009. Using early 2010 to get their feet steady, they have called on the duties of Jackbot to lay down some signature filth, coming in the form of the 'Axe 2 Grind' EP, due to drop late March. The EP is everything punters want at the moment, including remixes from Ishe, Filthy Rehab, Royal K, JackDaRipper, Timoshii and many more. The release has already nabbed praises from a tonne of big names, including WoNK, Danny Soundz and Nu Ravers, proving that the chance of it going boom is pretty damn high. We understand a feature just isn't a feature without a taste tester, so we have a 128kbps clip to throw your way! It's the Figure remix featured on the EP, coming in the form of a Dutch influenced peak time banger that would drop pretty nicely on a crowd who's ready to get down. Enjoy and be sure to nab the release when it breaks open Beatport!
