Guerilla Farts?


You probably know the Dada Life name from their recent remix of Alex Gophers 'Handguns' tune, but there's a lot more to the interesting duo than that. Hailing from the Sweden, the producer/DJ's spend their time rocking parties with their extensive original and remix collection, running their own website and happily providing the public with all the production pieces to their music. Huh? Yes. They give away remix packs for all their tunes, stating 'we know that you can do it too, maybe even better'. If that's not confidence I'd be pretty hard strapped to find what is!

While we could talk all day about the beauties that lie within the Dada Life world, its their interesting (yet inappropriately named) set of 'Guerilla Fart' edits that brings us here. The term Guerilla Fart portrays something quite unpleasant, but you'll be happy to know this 10 pack of bootleg remixes are anything but. The duo started them quite awhile ago and have given them away to the public and we just thought we'd provide you with one easy back-catalouge so that you can grab them all and flog them like we did. There's something for everyone, so enjoy the wide range of tuneage and check back with us tomorrow for more of the same!

Dusty Soundcloud

Having a Soundcloud account set up since the introduction of this page to the blogosphere, I've unfortunately grown less and less methodical in checkin the useful feature. Turns out this contradicts the increase in tunes FridgeJet has been sent via the music support site, forcing me to repent laziness, kick into gear to clear this unposted back log of good quality tunes. For now, we'll be a little briefer than we usually are, but be sure to jump on the plethora of links sprinkled over the post to get your future doses of anything that catches your ear! We've done a write up on each artist and you can nab the tracks at the bottem of this post!

Disco Villians:
While you've probably heard these widely popular tunes, bare with us as we lay some credit to some truely awesome producers. Stemming out of the US, these two lad's have shot throught a number of their highly blogged remixes and if you havn't heard these yet just thank us later, for now put your shuffling shoes on and go wild around your bedroom and/or kitchen.

Malo:
We have shot around the place, up and down, and we just havn't found out that much about this guy. We like his catchy, filthed up little tune and his mixtape is cool work, so Malo... if your reading this, give us a shout back and thanks for sending your stuff over!

Diversity



Last week, In The Mix gave a visual offering of American trio N*E*R*D performing live and while it was very different to the usual, it was enjoyable none the less. This week, In The Mix proves their a diverse lot by providing a song on the outskirts of the genre set they usually play. Kid Sister (remember her single 'Pro Nails' with Kanye?) teams up with David Banner to push out the sort of song that will be on 2 hour rotation on all the local radio stations within the month. While its certainly going to get flogged (obviously not in clubs), the song is a good piece of production and worth a listen. Thanks In The Mix!
