Sure, we threw away the genre constraints that we so openly admit limit Fridgejet's broad minded constraints, but Shazam is just too feel good not to! Like always In The Mix dropped their weekly free download fresh out every monday and this week it was from Perth producer Shazam. With his 'Pool Party' EP just dropped via the very popular Bang Gang 12 Inches label, it was just too hard to pass up. Pool Party was one of our favorite songs to drink a Corona by the pool in late 2008 and with its official release passing now, this had to grab a mention! 'Luckier' is a very downtempo feel good, disco styled song, and its evident that Shazam has had plenty of practice in his producing efforts, having spent the past year remixing the likes of Muscles (which made it onto Digitalism's Kitsune Tabloid mix back in '08) and obviously working on his production, its good to see the EP drop!
