MR OIZO

Despite having an avid passion for light hearted movies, when Quentin Dupieux, aka Mr Oizo, decides to create a feature length film, he's got my full attention. Having spent years and years building up his musical moniker, it seems Mr Dupieux wanted to show his creativity in its visual aspect. Hell, why not? It's not this that astounds us, but more the mould that has spawned from his conceptualistic approach.

This is where things get weird, so we completely understand if you choose to hit us with deaf ears, but here goes. 'Rubber', as it is appropriately titled, is a movie based around an abandoned car tyre that has been left in the desert and as a result, has come to life. Furthermore, the circular black fiend develops a lust for killing people which soon snowballs into a superhero like attribute that allows him/it to telepathically manipulate and destroy anything it wants. The result? A new generation shoot 'em up that proves action films can never go to far - especially not if your Mr Oizo! Check the screen shouts in your astounded state.
