Star Power!

Riva Starr is a straight up cool cat and one of our favorite producers at the moment. Straight from the man himself, his influences stem from 'blogs, wild after parties and music that works for the kids as well as the cool ubercoolisch Europeans'. If you want a lesson in history, we'd say his rise to fame kicked off around the time he dropped his name on Jesse Rose's 'Frontroom Records' label (quite some time ago now), a deed that pretty much booked him out for the months following and ever since for that matter. Fast forward to right now, he's still powering upwards and he continually creates creative and original tunes and remixes stemming from a new and very popular sound. September 9 is your best bet to catch his latest innovations, with his 'If Life Gives You Lemons Make Lemonade' EP hitting listings and serving up a perfect prequal for his debut artist album planned to drop later in the year. Even better is the video chilling up the top of this post, which is an excellent chop up to suit the teaser - watch it, tap you feet, nod your head and smile.
